What precautions are you taking due to COVID-19?

Fully vaccinated and Boosted (Pfizer) since 5/6/21. COVID-19 prevention and your health are my top priorities. I follow all Centers for Disease Control (CDC) guidelines. I wear a KN95 mask always. I practice social distancing, I only spend time with my amazing clients. I practice great hygiene.  I screen myself from symptoms via personal temperature checks early mornings and at night. I have Antigen Rapid Test. I am mindful of my physical and psychological state, keeping symptoms and safety in mind at all times.  In addition, I wear a KN95 mask while training in home and outdoors and I maintain a safe working distance.  I sanitize my equipment before and after every session.  I use commercial grade, clear gear deodorizer and disinfectant.  I am also happy just to use your personal equipment if that is more comfortable and convenient for you. I continue to closely monitor information and updates from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and abide by their recommendations and procedures. Your health and safety as well as mine are my top priorities. 

What is the difference between your training compared to going to a gym?

I have worked at franchise and brand name gyms for over 16 years.  The main reason I started my in-home, preferred site, online professional personal training business was due to the COVID-19 pandemic and all the health concerns it brought in crowded indoor facilities.  Working at indoor gyms is no longer safe, I find working one on one with clients at the safety and privacy of their choice 100% safer. First of all, training at your home, preferred site, outdoors, or online is a guaranteed safe environment.  Second, it’s convenient, money and time saving for you.  Third, it’s a private setting where you are comfortable and no one is judging you.  Fourth, there are no distractions or having to deal with unprofessional environment or gym etiquette.  Fifth, you will have my undivided professional attention and expertise. I truly care about you, your safety and your success. You can guarantee I will always show up ready, motivated and provide you with the accountability you need.

Do I need equipment and how much space do we need for our fitness sessions?

I bring new and sanitized equipment.  I have resistance bands, mini-bands, dumbbells, kettlebells, bumper plates, sandbags, medicine balls, slam balls, battle ropes, TRX suspension straps, ankle and wrist weights, agility ladders, agility hurdles, agility cones, stability and bosu-balls, step-platforms, balance boards, balance pads, yoga mats, yoga blocks, yoga wheels, abdominal wheels, pilates-rings, sliders, foam rollers, foam balls, stretching bands and straps, massage roller sticks, electric massagers, electric rollers, rock-mats, fitness data trackers, and other fitness tools.  I am also able to provide fun and efficient fitness training, mobility and recovery sessions with no equipment.  I can also use whatever equipment you have at home so you will have a personal fitness program when I am not with you.  As long as we can maintain 6 feet apart, we can train wherever you are comfortable and with minimal space.

Doctor patient consultation and clearance

Do I need a physician’s clearance if I have a pre-existing condition, physical limitations or aches and pains?

I do recommend you consult your general physician before you engage in any physical activity.  If you have pre-existing conditions I recommend you have a physician’s clearance before physical activity. If you have physical limitations like limited range of motion, tightness, imbalances, pain, or degenerative conditions I will be able to help you.  I am an experienced elite master fitness trainer and coach. I’ve been helping people of all ages overcome their genetic deficiencies, post-rehab, injury rehab, injury prevention and more.

I am new to fitness and I am really over-weight and out of shape. Will I be able to be participate with your fitness programs?

Absolutely!  No matter your fitness level, condition, or genetic deficiencies I will be able to help you.  I am an NCCA certified professional with over 16 years of experience. I have experience training clients of all fitness levels, different genetic deficiencies and fitness needs.  I incorporate physical therapy concepts, post-rehab, pain management, corrective training, neuromuscular training, yoga, pilates, recovery, mobility, flexibility training and more.  In addition, I will be more than happy to work together with your doctor, physical or occupational therapist if needed.  I don’t let your genetic deficiencies or limitations prevent us from achieving your best fitness and health.

What does the free consultation, fitness assessments and training session entail?

First, I would love to provide you with a free consultation. During this consultation, it will be my pleasure to get to know you, listen to and understand your fitness needs and goals.

Second, we will do a fun comprehensive fitness assessment, review your assessment, as well as your fitness needs and goals. Depending on time and how you feel, we will do a fun training session customized to your fitness level, needs and goals.

Third, if we are compatible and reach an agreement, it will be a pleasure and a privilege to be of service and start your fitness journey together. Together we will accomplish all your fitness needs, goals and more.
